This is the travel brochure I made for the beautiful island Puerto Rico.

Leaf

In this project we were given the task to create a object using words on a type path. I decided to create a leaf.

Chiefs Jayhawks

We used words to create a interesting effect by replacing the colors of the picture.

H.V. Designs

We created our own personal logo's using our initials. I came up with a very sleek and nice looking design that I liked very much.

I also created a retro looking design that I feel came out very nicely also

Tutorials

This was a mesh flower that I created manipulating the colors at certain points of it. I feel that it came out great and looks beautiful. It was a difficult project getting the anchors right and coloring them correctly.

This was another project we worked on. We had to create a unique design that used a swish. I came up with a simple design while using gradients that came out fairly well.

Blend Patterns was a very cool technique we learned. I used a yellow to brown design to give off a flower-like feel.

We did some more work with 3D objects. It was a very difficult project since the slightest mistake would result in it looking like a block. I fought with it for awhile and it felt like it came out alright, I also messed with the surface to add custom text.

I excluded some tutorials since I didn't feel they were good enough to post.

Minion (unfinished)

This was the minion project we were working on. It was quite a difficult project, required a lot of skill to work on. I feel my minion came out fine, although I didn't have a chance to finish it.

Cartooned Self

This is a cartooned version of myself (even though my hair is far shorter now). It was quite difficult since I struggle with drawing things, but I feel it came out allright.

3D Beachball

First time using 3d shapes. Felt it was the best of the objects I made

Me Zombified

For halloween we decided that we would take a picture of ourself and use picmonkey to change us into a halloween character. I myself turned me into a zombie, it's quite a fun program.

Join The Crowd

This is the recent project we did where we take 3 pictures of our self, then put them together to create a theme for a picture. Here I create a theme of me knocking myself out, and having the other me arrest myself. I then put a jailbar surrounding to give the idea of jail, then added a Jail Time text at the top.

Paintbrush Lighting Effect

For this I needed to create a lighting effect for a object using a paintbrush. I decided to use a football and add a black and white lighting on both sides to brighten one side, and darken the other. I also added in leaves to help represent the football as a fall sport.

SparkleEffect

In this project we were suppose to create a sparkle effect. My idea was to create multiple layers of several colors to create a very nice tip of the wand. I then added multiple small dots in several colors to represent a sparkling effect that came from the wand.

Carlot

The 3rd image was a tutorial that I was suppose to create from scratch. I was required to put the best cars and place a image of a car with it. I enjoyed this project as I was still new to Photoshop, and enjoyed creating it. It's a very simple image yet still looks very nice.

Poster

The 2nd picture I created is a Poster for the game Minecraft. It was fun to make and I featured many mobs from the game, including the landscape which is from the game. I also used opacity and effects to my advantage to enhance it.

Clipping Mask

The 1st picture is a project I did in Photoshop CS5. It's my name with other images within the text. The H contains a XBOX 360 Emblem, E contains a Football, N contains a Creeper from Minecraft, R contains a Jayhawk mascot from KU, and the Y represents the Kansas City Chiefs. All of these reflect something about me.
